As a full member of Kettle Moraine Figure Skating Club you automatically become a fullmember of U.S. Figure Skating! 
Members of our organizations have the ability and privlege to do the following:
    • Test at U.S. Figure Skating-sponsored test sessions
    • Compete at U.S. Figure Skating-sanctioned events
    • Participate in U.S. Figure Skating qualifying events
    • Represent your club at regional, sectional and national events

Members also received the following:

    • Certificates of accomplishment for pasing proficiency tests and for placing at U.S. Figure Skating qualifying events
    • Subscription to SKATING magazine
    • Individually numbered membership card
    • Coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy
    • Have the ability to contract ice at a reduced cost from KMFSC

Learn the FUN-damentals of Figure Skating!

The Basic Skills program is designed by U.S. Figure Skating to be the best beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding!
The curriculum is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. 
The objectives of the program are:
    • To provide a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater
    • To teach correct technique of the basic elements of skating
    • To develop a finer degree of coordination and balance
    • To promote physical fitness
    • To have FUN!

Basic Skill and Freeskate Levels

    • Basic 1 (requires no membership in KMFSC)
    • Basic 2 (requires no membership in KMFSC)
    • Basic 3 (requires no membership in KMFSC) 
    • Basic 4 (requires KMFSC Basic Skills membership)
    • Basic 5
    • Basic 6
    • Basic 7
    • Basic 8
    • Freeskate 1 (Freeskate 1-6 requires a Freeskate membership)
    • Freeskate 2
    • Freeskate 3
    • Freeskate 4
    • Freeskate 5
    • Freeskate 6

At the Freeskate 6 level skaters begin learning an axel; Begin preparations to start taking proficiency tests as listed under the full membership benefits!

Memberships

  • First Family Member/Full USFSA Membership - $85
  • Additional Family Members/Full USFSA Membership - $50

These memberships expire on June 30th

  • Freeskate 1-6 Membership - $85
  • Basic Skill 4-8  - $30.00

These memberships expire on June 30th

  • Coach Membership - $50.00

Coach Memberships include a full membership in USFSA and KMFSC
These memberships expire on June 30th
(The membership fee is waived for coaches that teach group lessons for 4 or more sessions during any given season.)

Membership fees are non-refundable.
